Three Values

I have come to love three things when it comes to design. These are three values of mine which I employ on any project, big or small; graphics, music, film, small group study, creative session, even gardening! They are:

Communication, exploring, implementation.
Red, orange, and green.
Stop, get ready and go!

Communication because it's good to talk. It's good to ask questions of others, find out about cultures and religions. It's really good to talk in groups too. This is not a common thing I've found especially in the work place. We seem to be very good at our own little worlds and the things we like but it's sometimes hard for us to open up. There is great reward in sharing lives on more than just a superficial level. Dynamic teams are created this way.

Exploring because this world we live in is not small and there's so much to see. I love going to new places and countries. I even love to purposefully get lost in a city. Who knows what you'll find! Like I said earlier it's easy particularly in our westernized all-about-me culture to just look out for number one and forget that there are other things to see and people to meet that might just make what we do that much deeper and more meaningful.

Implementation because we were made to create and I strongly believe that if we do communication and exploring before we create our work will be much richer.
